do you offer exchanges or returns?
Our recommended burn time is 3-4 hours. Be sure to trim the wick to 1/4" each time before lighting to prevent wick curling. Always allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the jar before extinguishing. This will allow the candle to burn evenly and prevent "tunneling." Never leave a candle unattended or in reach of children, pets or a draft. Allow the jar to cool completely before handling.
what is the best way to burn Feast & Dwell candles?
Definitely! When about 1/4" of wax remains, place your candle (unlit, of course) in the freezer. Once the wax hardens, it can be chipped out along with the wick. If you have remnants of wax left, place your candle in a warm oven and allow the wax to liquify. Dump the wax out (we recommend dumping into the trash rather than down your drain!) and wipe clean. You can remove the wax residue with soap and water.
can the container be repurposed?
HOW DO I CARE FOR THE SERVING BAORDS?
Each serving board order has a 2oz bottle of butcher block conditioning oil and care instructionsincluded in the package. This is used to apply to the board to recondition it and bring out the natural coloring of the wood. You can also very lightly sand any areas that may have a slight raise because of moisture and then reapply the conditioning oil.
