It's June. As crazy as it seems, the first day of Summer is just right around the corner. I love this time of year. It's definitely a little toasty here in Austin, but Summer brings so many great things. My hubs is off work for summer, vacations are planned, parties are had, the fireflies are all over our backyard - good vibes all around.
Outdoor entertaining is one of our favorite things. We hosted Mother's Day dinner outside this year, and it was gorgeous and all kinds of fun. Somehow I always think things taste better when eating outside. Since Summer is upon us which means lots of festivities and cook outs and dinner parties, today I'm sharing a little product roundup of some outdoor entertaining favorites.
As you have probably come to learn (and as I have probably mentioned about a million too many times), I love creating a great environment for people to gather. When you're outside, nature kind of speaks for itself, giving you a little less to prepare. We have just added a few strands of twinkle lights to our backyard and it creates an inviting, warm atmosphere (mixed with those awesome lighting bugs, how can you go wrong?). Some of the items below are great for outdoor and indoor entertaining and are a little more pricey. However, when it comes to plates and glasses for outdoors, I like to keep those simple and on the cheaper side. This way if anything breaks it's not a huge chunk of change out of your pocket.
Thinking about hosting outdoor dinner parties makes me all giddy inside. Here's to a summer of backyards filled with lots of laughter, conversation, and good food.
